This year the Center for African Health & Education reached hundreds of community members through health education & outreach on cancer awareness, vaccinations, communicable disease, pediatric dental health and chronic disease self-management.
We also strengthened our community’s emergency preparedness and climate resilience with training sessions to help families and seniors stay safe.
And through referrals and workforce development, we connected seniors to vital services and trained new Community Health Workers to deliver culturally responsive care.
Together, we’re building a healthier, stronger community!
